La Palombe Kensington

La Palombe is a neighbourhood French bistro in Kensington from restaurateur James Chiavarini and chef patron Jake Leach, who was previously head chef at the three-Michelin-starred The Ledbury. The restaurant combines Michelin-level cooking with the warmth and friendliness of a family-run brasserie, focusing on wood-fired dishes that showcase British produce and foraged ingredients.

The kitchen centres around a large wood-burning grill where most dishes are cooked over live embers, giving them a distinctive character. Much of the wild food is foraged in-house, including wild venison, Wiltshire truffles sourced with their truffle dog Alba, and rare woodland mushrooms. The restaurant also grows produce on their organic smallholding in Kent, raising all livestock to organic standards and working closely with local farms to ensure quality and traceability.

Dogs are welcome at La Palombe, making it an ideal choice for a special meal out with your four-legged companion. The wine list features exclusively independent producers, with a focus on natural, low-intervention, and biodynamic wines that complement the seasonal menu.
