Kartuli - Georgian Restaurant

Kartuli brings authentic Georgian cuisine to East Dulwich from a beautifully preserved historic building, the former David Greig premises with its striking thistle-themed tiling. Founded by friends from Georgia and the UK, the restaurant demonstrates the legendary Georgian tradition of hospitality through beautifully prepared classic dishes that might be found at any Georgian feast or cooked with love in a Georgian home. The kitchen bakes its own breads and khachapuri to order, whilst the classic khinkali are freshly prepared, never frozen.

The menu showcases traditional Georgian specialties including the boat-shaped acharuli khachapuri, pleated khinkali dumplings filled with aromatic broths, and slow-cooked dishes like chakapuli lamb with fresh tarragon. The wine shop presents one of the UK's most extensive ranges of Georgian wines, with bottles sourced from the birthplace of winemaking with its 8,000-year history.
